Important information about KiskoFest and FAQ.

The pub crawl kicks off all the way from the outskirts of Hervanta, as Nysse arrives to shuttle the festive crowd from checkpoint to checkpoint for the fifth year in a row! The tracks lead to the festival area in Ratinanniemi, where top artists await, ensuring that the unforgettable night won’t be cut short by the lack of afterparty options.

Tickets

The KiskoFest-ticket costs 26,50€. The ticket price includes a pub crawl, an open-air festival at Ratinanniemi, two overall patches, a Nysse day ticket (Zones A-B) for the event day and afterparties which are held at Ilona, Fame, H5 and Sin City.

 

Tickets will be sold on Kide.app after the artist lineup has been announced. More information regarding ticket sales will be announced soon.

The party starts now!

At H5, the afterparty will be enjoyed with After hours energy. A guaranteed dance vibe is coming, as the rhythms of rap, reggaeton, R&B and afrobeat take the KiskoFest attendee with them!

Performing on stage at H5 is Stepa, one of Finland’s most respected and distinctive rap artists. Having released music for nearly 20 years, Stepa is known for his warm energy, thought-provoking lyrics and message where peace and love are always present.

HITWAVE LIVE -🎶 Fame

Fans of live hits and future fans, hear me out!

The theme of Fame’s afterparty, Hitwave Live, promises the chords of popular pop and rock songs and fun until the break of dawn or until your voice no longer carries.

One of students’ favorite bands, the NMKSV Big Band from Tampere, arrives at Fame to perform songs the lyrics of which you might already know.

Take your friends and good vibes with you because if you’ve ever seen NMKSV Big Band perform, you definitely know that this band knows how to throw a good party!

KiskoFest’s ONLINE.MP4 afterparty at Ilona serves up modern sound, alternative vibes and of course good partying, as the quickly risen louna0nline steps onto the stage.

louna0nline’s genreless yet distinctive catalogue smoothly combines modern rap, pop and witch house sound. Known for hazy internet aesthetics, the new wave artist’s presence comes across to the listener when sharp productions meet personal lyrics.

ELECTRIC AVENUE  – 🖤 Sin City

Are you ready to step onto ELECTRIC AVENUE?

You should start warming up already, because the electronic vibes of this afterparty will definitely get your body moving!

At the Electric Avenue afterparty, you’ll feel the pounding bass, flashing lights and never-before-heard beats as Spinni ry arrives on the scene.

Spinni ry is the electronic music club of the Tampere higher education community, whose mission is to spread the culture and gospel of electronic music. At the KiskoFest afterparty, Spinni’s DJs will serve visitors a leap into the best-known hits and most danceable new releases of electronic music.

Frequently asked questions

NOT ALLOWED at KiskoFest

  • Your own drinks. An empty plastic water bottle is allowed.
  • Items or substances that could be used to harm others or endanger safety, or that are illegal — such as sharp knives, narcotics, multi-tools, flammable or explosive chemicals, flares, weapons, and similar hazardous items. Any illegal items found during security checks will always be reported to the police.
  • Sunshades and umbrellas, tents, canopies, camping tables, and similar items that may obstruct the view or pose a hazard to other attendees.
  • Selfie sticks and camera tripods. Cameras are allowed.
  • Glass items
  • Pets, except assistance or working dogs.
  • Large backpacks

The gate supervisor makes the final decision on whether any item may be brought into the festival area. There is a cloakroom right next to the KiskoFest gates where you can store your belongings. Be prepared for the cloakroom to fill up quickly — avoid queues by leaving umbrellas and large bags at home!

The Ratinanniemi festival area is a licensed venue, so a security check is carried out at the gates and attendees’ IDs are verified. Also make sure your event wristband is on your wrist, as you will not be admitted without it.

You can enter the after party venues with an after party wristband. The after parties open at 21:45. After midnight, it is possible to switch venues with another after party wristband for €5. Those with a ticket without an after party and ticketless guests may enter after 00:00 for €8. Payment is collected at the bar entrance.

This year’s after party venues are to be announced later on.

Using the QR code found on the KiskoFest performance card, you can travel on Nysse trams and buses throughout the event day (AB zones, 12:00–23:59). The QR code on your performance card must be scanned on every journey!

Checkpoint locations are in the City Centre, Kaleva, and Hervanta.

Kiskoja and Konnari (1st and 2nd degree): 6 stamps in total — one from Hervanta, one from Kaleva, one from the city centre, and one from Ratinanniemi.

Ratamestari (3rd degree): 8 stamps in total — one from Hervanta, one from Kaleva, one from the city centre, and one from Ratinanniemi.

Vaunuveijari (4th degree): 10 stamps in total — one from Hervanta, one from Kaleva, one from the city centre, and one from Ratinanniemi.

A Kide.app ticket can be forwarded to someone else, which means the wristband can also be picked up on another person’s behalf.

KiskoFest does not tolerate inappropriate behaviour or harassment. Inappropriate behaviour may result in removal from the event. Do not cut in line, and treat your fellow apro participants with respect.

Do not hesitate to offer help to those who need it! Contact the event’s security staff or organisers if you witness inappropriate behaviour. In an emergency, call the general emergency number 112.

The event has an official harassment contact person whom will be present on the event day and can be identified by a red harassment contact person vest. They can also be reached by phone for one week following the event day.

For our event, the areas of equality we focus on are accessibility of communications, physical accessibility of the event, and inclusivity. All communications are aimed to be provided in English as well, so that as many participants as possible can receive the necessary information and instructions in a language they understand.

KiskoFest prioritises financial accessibility, especially at events aimed at new students. The goal is to offer a nearly free apro route through activities and company stands.

We aim to offer non-alcoholic options at checkpoints and to ensure that the route can be completed entirely without alcohol.
